Staring at the flask at first she thought he was crazy, was he a drunk? Did he want her to walk into a starbucks with alcohol? Really? It wasn't an Irish coffee she wanted. Maybe it's what happens when you deal with demons on a daily basis..oh.. it's Holy water. Chloe released her grip on the newly found door handle giving him an easy smile. There was something she noticed in the mans face, something she was feeling in the pit of her stomach. In no way was she ready to go off on her own she knew that. But it's starbucks, she didn't really think it through that a demon really could be anyone. If she needs the protection when she's just sitting in starbucks waiting for him to pick her back up... she needs it everywhere. Maybe she should have just stayed holed up in the apartment until she was ready in case she came face to face with something supernatural.
"You know what?" She spoke up while taking the flask, tucking it inside her jacket. "I'll risk looking like a crazy alcoholic but I know it'll help me be a little bit safer. How long until you swing back around? Maybe it would be a better idea to just get a drink and go back to the apartments. At least then if something happened you're around. You know what to do. I'll buy you something. I already want to pick up cookies in there for Lois." It wasn't just the fact that she was told Sam Winchester was the one helping everyone out and out there fighting the supernatural all over the country that made her feel safe. It was something else, he kind of reminded her of someone she knew. Like he would never let any bad happen to her, or he'd blame himself.
