Mal wasn't one for Holiday cheer. He also wasn't a scrooge either. He chose to be alone for the Holiday season and not ruin any of the others good times just because he didn't buy into it. So it was to the bar that particular night to have himself a nice quiet drink after a stressful week past. He really didn't like Earth. It wasn't his favorite place ever. To be tossed back to the planet had thrown his entire plan off and made him a little more then cranky. Still there was some fun to be had at least with the complex bunch. Jacen was highly amusing at times. He enjoyed picking on him, he couldn't help it.
Tonight though he wasn't even thinking about Jacen, he was just on his way back to his humble little table with a glass of scotch when he saw something unpleasant out of the corner of his eyes. A man harassing a woman, by the looks of things someone fairly proper. He hated drunk bullies. Sighing as he took a drink of his scotch, Mal made his way toward the man and put his hand on his shoulder
"Looks like I got here just in the nick of time. I believe she said she said no, so why don't you just go find yourself another seat. No need to make a scene." The young man looked at Mal who still had his hand on his arm and turned to face the smuggler."And if I were you I'd get your hand offa me." Mal made a tsking sound and released him. "See, now that's how it's done. You ask for somethin and you get it. Why don't you show the lady the same kindness." He looked down at Leia with a wolfish grin.
"You think your better en me?" He slurred. Mal shrugged and didn't answer, only making the drunk man more upset. It was obvious Mal didn't care much. "Well, my days of takin you seriously are certainly coming to a middle. I asked you nice like to leave. I ain't gonna ask again."
