Nodding as she was supplied a name, Elena bit back the retort that she highly doubted that Jimmy was in the same boat as Stefan. After all, she didn't notice any jewelry with lapis lazuli on it and it was day, meaning, not a vampire. Well, unless he was a vampire from a world where they could go into the sun without any means of protection. Still, no need to alert him to the whole supernatural thing just yet. Oh, she had a feeling he was displaced but she wasn't positive. She'd find out, though.
Still, there really was no response to the comment about him and Stefan being in the same boat. She didn't know him, which meant that, if he were addicted to something, well, she had no real place to say anything about it. And if he was a vampire addicted to human blood, well, hopefully vervain would work against him as that was really her only means of protection against vampires right now.
"You'd be surprised."
It was vague, yes, and sure, Jimmy had a point that she was out of place. She was a seventeen year old girl hunting a crazed vampire. Definitely out of place. Didn't mean that Elena was going to stop. She was determined to find Stefan and help him.
"You seem out of place, too. You're not from around here, are you?"
