WHO: Jason Todd and Mary Winchester
WHAT: Getting a drink. Or several.
WHEN: Evening.
WHERE: The Roadhouse.
RATING: PG-13 to start.
Jason had heard a little talk about the place. Hunter-centric bar, protected just enough so that if there were any problems on the streets they wouldn't have to deal with them while they were getting piss drunk on the inside. More importantly, there were people there who had field experience, which meant that Jason would either be right at home or he'd be surrounded by a bunch of morally superior jackasses that he'd want to punch in the face. And probably would. Either way, it seemed like a fun place for him to spend at least a portion of his evening. He'd have a drink or ten, possibly set someone off into a rage, or - hey, bright side - maybe even make a friend. For someone who had spent weeks hiding away, plotting to attack some of the more hardcore gangs in and out of Lawrence, Jason found the idea of being social an interesting one. He hadn't done that in a long time. Usually it was just him posting on the boards or chopping off the heads of scumbags on the streets or chatting it up with Talia al Ghul about how he was going to get his revenge on Batman. This was a different kind of social. In fact, it was relatively new territory for Jason altogether and he was rather curious to see how it was going to end.
The Roadhouse didn't look too busy when he got there. There were two people standing at the entrance, chatting about something, and a few cars lined up along the parking lot, but besides that it looked like the place was having a relatively slow start for the night. Jason didn't particularly care how business was, really, so long as the beer was good. He climbed off 'his' (he'd taken it from a thug he'd knocked out of the picture a few weeks back) motorcycle and made for the front door. It took Jason all of ten seconds to figure out where the bar was, so he immediately made way for one of the vacant seats at it's tail end and popped down onto it. Elbows resting against the bar, Jason nodded to the bartender and ordered himself a beer.
