The one good thing about having talked to Neville about everything involving Tom Riddle in the past was that she didn't really have to elaborate all that much. If she mentioned first year, it meant it was dealing with Riddle. Still, she couldn't really even get away with not elaborating in this instance because it was so much worse. Yes, two weeks was a short amount of time when compared to a year. But it had been so much more constant. Not to mention the torture. The Dark Mark.
Nodding her head some, Ginny just trembled as she forced herself to keep speaking.
"When he realized I wasn't the me from there.... he made me see what I had done there. I killed Harry.... that's why he had a real body. He won the war... I betrayed my family.... Under his possession but it still happened. It was so constant. He was always there. Smirking....."
Closing her eyes, Ginny could feel tears trying to fall but she couldn't let them.
".... if it was just that, it would have been okay. Well. No. Not really... I could handle the torture by the Death Eaters... but-" Voice breaking, Ginny realized she couldn't exactly voice it so instead she just did as she had with Ron. Lifted the sleeve of her left arm and showed him the Dark Mark scarred on her arm along with the marks of her trying to cut if off.
"I couldn't fight them... I tried but there were too many and they stunned me and I can't make it go away and oh god, please don't hate me. I didn't want this!"
And came the hysterics. She was breathing quicker, having looked up at Neville, terrified. She knew he had promised. But she was a bloody Death Eater. Not by choice, but wasn't that what the Mark did? What if he showed up!? He would call and have to go.
