Koschei rummaged through the refrigerator until he found what he needed. He pulled the ingredients out and set them on the counter, then grabbed a bowl and started adding the needed dose of each ingredient. It wouldn't be a cure, but it would be enough to hold the poison off long enough to get the needed ingredients. Or at least Koschei hoped so. He needed curry pepper, and the Doctor, of course, had none.
Once he finished the mixture, he brought the bowl over to the Doctor. "Okay, you don't have curry pepper, but this should help hold the effects off until we can get some." It was mostly liquid so it could be easily ingested. He wasn't as good as the Doctor was in knowing these things, but he'd picked up enough on their travels to know this. "Bottoms up, as they say."
He sat down, watching this other version of his friend closely. "It's not strange. Small wars, yes, but not a time war or anything like that. The Daleks had tried to invade, but they were thwarted. You and I were there to help and we protected our home successfully. Hear anything? No, I didn't. I only saw the infinite possibilities the universe held. Saw that a difference could be made." Koschei smiled. "You were always saying how you wanted to go out there and see everything. I was just a tag along at first, but one planet after another. Oh the sights we saw and the people we saved and the wars we stopped."
