Jessica knew there was more wrong with this guy than just the face. The fact that he was limping, it was more than just a little bit visible. Jessica was nowhere near stupid enough to think that this guy was fine. In fact, she'd water to be that he was pretty hurt. It might even be so bad that he had something broken. Either way he needed to be looked at, if not x-rayed. Jessica, in her mind, was already thinking about how if she were the doctor she'd probably do more than an x-ray. Thinking even further she couldn't help but wonder if he had a concussion. The damage to his face meant he had to have been hit pretty hard...and repeatedly. He looked so awful. Jessica couldn't help the sympathy that she had for this guy already, and it didn't even really matter to her what had happened. All that mattered was he was hurt, and to Jessica that meant that he needed to be helped.
The accent threw Jessica for all of a moment. How could he be so nonchalant? He had to be in pain, she was positive. "You definitely don't look good as gold, no offense." She told him, honestly. Jessica was an honest person, pretty much. She caught the wince too, but said nothing about it for the moment. Jessica was that person that had the habit of helping people. That was the whole reason that she had ended up in the mess she had with Brady. Maybe it'd bite her in the butt another time, but this guy....he didn't seem bad or anything, just like he needed help.
Jessica didn't miss the spitting of blood, though, even though he turned his head. She was observant enough to see the ugly red color of it. There was no way that she could let this guy go anywhere but to get medical treatment. "You're in Lawrence, Kansas." Jessica told him, automatically and that sealed the fact that she didn't feel the need to worry about him being anything to worry about safety wise at the moment. He obviously had been dumped here, just like so many. "You don't sound like you're from here, and I can probably explain things to you." Jessica told him, her eyes going over him, thinking about how she'd present the case to Dr. Tam a bit already.
"But you should really see a doctor. I can take you to one, we're only a couple of blocks away." She really hoped he didn't make it difficult. This was what he needed, period, a doctor.
