Normally she should've cared that Mark was seeing her without make-up on, but she didn't give a damn about that right now. Of course he'd seen her without make-up before when they were dating, but that was a completely different scenario.
Maureen looked at the offering. Food. He was offering food. Chocolate cake. Well, that got her attention. And she couldn't exactly remember when she'd eaten last. "I never say no to chocolate. Come in." She turned from the door and walked to the kitchen area to grab a couple forks. "Make yourself comfortable. Want anything to drink? I have water." She was perhaps a bit quick to offer the water, but she didn't want him to think she was offering alcohol. She did have non-alcoholic things, she just hadn't really drank any of them lately.
After getting the forks, she walked over to her couch. Luckily she had cleaned. Which had meant she'd gotten rid of all the empty cans and bottles. She hadn't done much else, and there was probably a few articles of clothing scattered on the floor. Instead of kicking them into a hiding place, she just planted herself on the couch and waited for Mark to make himself comfortable.
