Spike is the big bad vampire with a soul. ([info]blondie_bear) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
This entire place wreaked of stupidity. Demons, apocalypses, fictional characters, stupid people, stupid, stupid, stupid. As to why he was still here to bother with it all? Spike simply didn't have anywhere else to go. Perhaps if Buffy decided to make a run for it, he'd choose to join. Until then, it was all lounging about, pretending to be less bored than he truly was, and sleeping. The sleep thing was both a bitch and a blessing - he had no one to talk to when he was fully awake because of the being a vampire who walked the night, but it got a bit lonely when there was no one around for him to call an idiot. Not even Andrew stayed up as late as he did, which left Spike to do nothing more than wander the city and sniff out any potential threats. There was also the fun of gambling with people who barely knew their way around a deck of cards, but even that got tiring.

As much as he complained about people and their stupidity, Spike found that he'd take it any day over being alone and ridiculously bored. Bored and stupid was better. It was why finding a person lounging about the kitchen area had come across as a....pleasant surprise? No, hardly. More along the lines of interesting. And appealing. More appealing than sulking the streets with a pack of smokes and the need to hit something violently.

Andrea. He'd talked to the girl once or twice. Raising a brow, he nudged past her and over to the refrigerator. Without so much as looking at Andrea, Spike passed over, "hello, Skanky" before reaching for the refrigerator door. He had a fridge in his own flat, but Spike kept his stuff stocked everywhere. Mostly because he knew that chilling blood in the same refrigerator as people who weren't used to it freaked them out. And it made him smile when he freaked people out.
