ooc: Lexi, sorry for not telling you earlier, I meant to bring Angel from after I’ll Cover You. Given the icon, though, I think I would like to bring her from Christmas. She’s still smitten with Collins and that was the one thing I was sure about regarding her character. It all works! :D
Already in a pleasant mood, Angel’s eyes practically lit up upon seeing a familiar face. It wasn’t just a familiar face, though, but one Angel actually liked seeing. “Roger!” She gave an enthusiastic wave in the musician’s direction. The entire situation was a little strange and it was a great relief to see that she had at least one friend in the place. Some things, she decided, were just better in the company of friends. Being dropped in the middle of Kansas without a clue as to what was going on was one of those things. She picked up her pace and rushed over to Roger.
“Sweetie, I have no clue what is going on.” Angel laughed, although she couldn’t mask her nerves completely. There was anxiety there and she was hoping that Roger might know what was happening. “One second I’m home and the next I’m in Kansas.”
Her mind was racing. Not only was she trying to conjure up some reasonable answers for her winding up in the midwest, but she was also thinking of other friends. If Roger was there maybe Mimi was, too. Maybe, and she was really hoping for it, Collins was around. More than anyone else she knew, Collins could put you at ease.
