winchester, sam. ([info]ex_demonbloo908) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
Sam heard the lock click. He glanced over at the door, surprise partially mixing in with his amusement. Damn. He always forgot that Ruby could do that - she didn't use her abilities in front of him often, mostly out of respect for the awkward feelings he always got about it. It wasn't until recently that Sam told her that he would learn to live with it, as it was just another part of her that he was going to have to accept. He could handle the black eyes and the knowledge that she was possessing an empty body. Sam could deal with the demon powers. After all, he sort of had them too.

"Gonna keep me prisoner?" He asked, tilting his head to the side in amusement. "How dare you."

He could get the lock to open if he really wanted to. Sam shifted slightly, helping Ruby pull the quilt up to cover their bare bodies. It was warmer, but most of what he felt was coming from Ruby curled up at his side. Though with the way that she was talking, maybe some of the feelings that he had were coming from elsewhere as well. Damn her! Keep it under control, man. "I'd enjoy it, but if I wanted to leave, I'd want to leave. I could just..."

He leaned slightly to the side, arm stretching out much more obviously than Ruby's had. The distance thing was hard and his target was a lot smaller than what he was used to practicing on. "Open it...myself..." If Ruby was keeping the lock shut against his own will, then Sam definitely wouldn't have been able to unlock it. But if she wasn't, he stood a much better chance.

That had nothing to do with whether or not Ruby would be able to convince him. Sam knew that, if he wasn't joking around, he'd have fallen to her right then and there without a second thought.
