"Also confident," Sam noted, smiling into the kiss, "if I didn't know any better, I'd assume you actually think you're gonna get out of here with an A." He turned his head just a little, pushing his mouth close to her ear. "It's cute, but I told you that it wouldn't be easy." As silly as it all was, Sam couldn't deny that he was getting enjoyment out of it. It was fun pretending to be this superior TA who wasn't easily impressed. It was a downright lie since he and Ruby both knew what it was that she could do to him, but it was all part of the game. Pretending to be smug and over accomplished was sort of entertaining. Even if she did make him get that way sometimes in general as it were. But it had been a few months now. He'd spent that time working, sulking, and worrying over Dean. This was a better change of pace.
Sam drew back and walked over to the bed. He was already shoeless so he didn't bother worrying over that; instead he settled down onto the edge and tilted his head to the side, looking over at Ruby expectantly. There was a momentary pause as he eyed how little skin that her skirt covered. Then there was the actual skin..."Well? Your grade isn't going to fix itself, you know."
