"Well, if you insist we celebrate then, I guess I can't say no!" It was nice, being in a relatively good mood for once since arriving. It was annoying Ginny that her moods were so sporadic as of late. She knew it made sense, and Neville was very patient with her when it came to her suddenly needing to hide. But with someone claiming to be her daughter and seeming to have all these expectations of her, the threat of possession making her have even more nightmares than she'd had during the past year where she'd sneak into the boys dorm or room of requirement to find comfort from her best friend.
Then he was asking if he'd really mock her and Ginny rolled her eyes and smiled slightly.
"Apparently it's quite hilarious watching me try to bake. So you might not be able to contain yourself." The words were spoken lightly, an amused twinkle in Ginny's eyes to show she really didn't care. She knew that Neville was basically the only one who hadn't laughed at her expense in a non-best friend kind of way.
Of course, Neville claiming that he might want to sit around and do nothing all night caused the red head to squeak indignantly. That was just not okay! Sitting around doing nothing on one's birthday or unbirthday! Madness! Which of course made Ginny make a split second decision. Ensuring that she wouldn't accidently hurt Neville in the process, the sixteen year old let go of her best friend's hand and promptly pounced him, pinning him to the ground.
