Neville shook his head, impossible to deny how amused he was at her forgetting her own birthday. It was so typically Ginny. Remembering his, forgetting her own. But it didn't work like that with him. "Even if Luna gives you a whole different birthday, we're celebrating you on the 11th and that's all there is to it." He wished he had a job in this place and could do something nice for her, but he didn't really see that as an option. But that didn't mean he couldn't do anything... Already, wheels were turning in Neville's head.
"Would I do that?" he asked, and he meant it sincerely. Neville wasn't one of her brothers. He was one of the few boys in Gryffindor tower who hadn't ever teased her or mocked her at one point or another. Especially not on a serious level. Maybe, from time to time, when the two of them were teasing back and forth. But as someone who got teased a fair bit himself, he was very careful with who he teased and when and how.
But then she was pulling him to his feet and he was sighing down at her, an amused and tolerant expression on his face. "I don't know. Who says I want to do anything? Maybe I want to sit here and do absolutely nothing. All night long. Did you even think of that?"
