Ginny was about to wave off his protest about his birthday when he suddenly was asking if she was okay. Which confused Ginny because she was perfectly fine. Better than fine, really. She had finally managed to make something edible! And it was for Neville's birthday/unbirthday.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Blinking some, the red head looked down at herself and instead of flushing in embarrassment, she just shrugged. Because really, she had battled the kitchen and survived. That was definitely something worth celebrating, right? Okay, so cooking was supposedly something most people should be able to do and Ginny couldn't but she didn't care. Because she was successful this time. Therefore, no need to be worried.
"Oh. Right. I baked you cookies!" With that, Ginny all but bounced over to where Neville was sitting and handed him the plate, "Edible cookies! So I may have gotten into a fight with the flour... but it's okay. I promise!" Grinning brightly, Ginny folded her hair behind her ear, still bouncing in excitement, "And the date is July 30th, so even if you already celebrated your birthday in our world, I don't remember it, therefore, we're celebrating it again because obviously I should remember it. And you know, cookies!"
