Had she known him when he was first rescued from Cadmus labs it would have nearly been like a copy of that Kon. That Kon had no personality, he didn't know how to feel. He only understood anger and disappointment brought on by Lex Luthor. This Kon however didn't even have that to show. His face was very nearly expressionless and void of the cocky grin that might have met hers a few weeks past. On a normal day all he could think about was spending time with Allana. He looked forward to spending every minute with her. Half the time it was the reason he still woke up in the morning in Apocalyptic Kansas.
The ironic thing was, before the Horsemen happened Kon had very nearly moved past being Clark's clone. He was almost happy to be infact. After Clark had accepted him it was like ten pounds of weight had lifted off his shoulders, and now he was fifteen steps back. Or so it seemed. After Clark had accepted him, many of his issues had stopped. Now they were back at 75%. He was referring to himself as expendable again and replaceable. Generally in the zone of not making a lot of sense. It was like his mind was stuck on a loading screen and he didn't know where to go. There was only one thing he could focus on. Kryptonite.
'Yeah." He said almost robotically at the red head and focused on her for a minute. It was as if he was trying to remember where they stood, trying to register what had happened and getting nowhere fast. "I can do it on my own.." He emphasized again for good measure. Hoping maybe she would realize he didn't want to inconvenience her.
