It was a lot to take in, and it was no wonder Lois found herself heading towards the nearest chair and plopping down onto it. They were saying they were aliens. That was not the answer Lois had been expecting, and the only reasons she even threw that option out there was because, for one, she knew that aliens existed, and because she figured that would be one thing that Clark was sure to shoot down. She had been all sorts of prepared to accept him as a meteor freak, but this was a lot bigger than that.
"So, I can see why you didn't tell me a long time ago," she said, nodding slowly, her eyes locking on a spot on the floor. "But hey. At least you're not lying now. Either that or you're taking a really weird detour around the truth."
