Lois looked back at them then, frowning a bit before taking a long drink of her newly procured coffee. Hopefully, that would calm her down, at least a little bit. But there were never any guarantees. Except, of course, that Lois was someone no one wanted to be around when she didn't have coffee. She still looked pissed, because she still was, but she looked just slightly hurt as well.
"And do you mean that?" she asked, sending a pointed look right at Clark, then scoffed a bit. "If you're not a meteor freak, then what are you, an alien or something?" Yeah, she knew aliens existed. Just like she knew that it wasn't always meteor freaks that had hero complexes. Or even villain complexes. There were other things, but they were just less common than the meteor freaks.
"And I want the truth. I'm sick of you hiding whatever it is from me."
