“It isn’t safe, is it?” She smirked in that scary fashion she reserved for the targets she had to bring in to the company’s facilities. Kon was a nice guy. She’d seen him active on the coms. He had friends and didn’t seem like a danger to the population of Lawrence, but that was the trick, wasn’t it? They didn’t always seem dangerous, but there was always potential. It helped her calm down a little to think of the terrible things he was capable of.
Elle lifted the hand that held the build-up of electric energy, forming it into some kind of ball about the size of a bowling ball. Trying to ignore the part of herself who thought it was wrong, she hurled the electricity right at Kon, aiming for his stomach. This sort of attack could knock an ordinary person to the ground, but she didn’t know how it would affect him. People with abilities came in all sorts of varieties. They had different strengths and weaknesses. She only knew that she wanted it over. The sooner it was over the sooner she could wipe her conscience clean.
