Kon felt a desperate need to get out of the complex. So for Dean to post about hunting Famine, it was the perfect opportunity. Plus he was sure he could help some people along the way. Clark would approve of that right? He was all about helping people lately. Not that he wasn't always, it just seemed like it doubled recently. Kon had to fight extra hard to get his attention for more then a few minutes. It was frustrating. And then Allana had broken up with him. Decided suddenly that he took up too much time, or whatever and just went off to go break laws and ignore signs. Whatever the hell was up with that he didn't know.
Had he been in the right state of mind he probably would have realized it was just Famine, but he wasn't so he didn't. He thought she was done with him, and so why should he waste time going after her? That was his initial thought anyway. Of course he kept his ears open via super hearing to make sure she wasn't in real danger, but he wasn't going to follow her. Unlike Dean. He followed Dean from the sky just a good fifty feet above, keeping a careful eye on the eldest Winchester until he landed and decided to walk with him. It was just easier that way.
So he thought. A voice distracted him from Dean-sitting and he turned to look at the electricity wielding girl. At first he thought she was Static, a boy with a similar power that he knew. But her voice was too feminine and her presence considerably more soft. Static was loud and a show off.
"Hey, what're you doing out here? Didn't you hear about the Hell Hounds? It isn't safe."
