Who: Buffy Summers, Open
What: Late night, shes got the munchies
When: Around 11pm
Where: Apartment Complex, Kitchens

The past little while she hadn't been getting much sleep. She spent most of her nights going back and forth between seeing how the weapon was coming along, patrolling, running security and watching someone she knew say things that were bound to get his head smashed in. She'd finished a training session and made sure the alarms on the building were set before the Slayer headed to the kitchen. Her tummy was growling and demanded a late night snack. She had nothing better to do anyway. It wasn't like she slept often.

Not really feeling like joining the latest online drama, the Slayer avoided the computer. Instead, she found herself sitting infront of a bowl of lucky charms, leaning forward on the table. With one hand she ate, while the other examined one of those mazes that was on the side of the milk carton, finding her way through the path with her eyes.

It was eleven, she should be tired by now. But her sleep schedule had been so thrown off by the invasion of evil aliens, it crazy. Maybe after this she'd go down and look at that weapon again. It had to be getting close to being finished, didn't it?

Hood went up first. Noted. Buffy studied the girls face, or at least what she could see of the face. What people saw out of capes and cloaks, she'd never know. "Sure. Thanks." she nodded once, smiling slightly.

Picking up she spoon again she stirred the remaining contents of her cereal around the bowl. "You'd be new here, right?" she already had a feeling that hold a chatting conversation with her was going to be difficult. But if people were going to be living here, it was probably best she got to know as many of them as she could.

She didn't really feel to 'in charge' of the building at the moment. Maybe it was the aliens, something completely beyond her. She could really only do what the others suggested. It annoyed her.

Raven took two cups in hand from the cabinet. She nodded to the being new here and decided that the polite thing would be to introduce herself.

"Raven," she said as she split the herbs up into the cups. She then poured the hot water into the cups and turned the stove off. She moved over to the table and set the first cup down next to the blond's cereal, then sat down taking a sip out of her own.

"Is this your dimension?"

"Thanks." she pulled the cup toward her, wrapping her hands around it and enjoying the warmth that it gave off. She could use a little instant heat.

"I'm Buffy." she said, smiling briefly at her. Assuming her name was Raven. Different, but no different than hers really. "No." she added with a shake of her head. "Not at all. I've just been here since most of the dimension hopping started." it seemed like forever ago. She was starting to think she'd never get back. Well, actually she started to think that a while ago, she just didn't know what she would do if that turned out to be the truth.

"How are you settling in so far?"

"Some guy on the network informed me I am fictional in this dimension," Raven informed her, "Aside from that, as ok as dimensional traveling can leave me."

She was by no means an expert on dimensional traveling, but since she had done a lot of research in hopes to stop her father from entering her dimension and destroying everything, she had done plenty of research on it. This was probably her fourth dimension to visit. She was taking most everything well, mostly because she was doing her best to turn her emotions completely off.

"Just appeared the other day," she informed Buffy, then after taking another sip of her tea asked, "Has this been going on long?"

Buffy blinked and then took a quick sip of tea, mentally cursing Spike. "That was Spike. He's...a pain in the ass to most people." or to everyone really, but you had to be lucky, if lucky was what you would call it, to see a side to him that wasn't someone you wanted to beat down. "He's not so bad when you get to know him."

"There are a lot people here that are considered fictional in this world. But that doesn't make your own world any less real." and that was coming from her own experience of dimensional hopping.

Nodding, she leaned back in her chair, bending one leg and bringing it up to her chest. "A few months now, actually."

"It was good that he told me," even though he was rather crude about it, "Prepares me, a little." Raven's mind lingered for a moment on Robin's biggest fan from an alternate dimension, then hoped never to come across something like that about her. "If he lives in this building, I'm sure he isn't," which she said with full confidence since she had not sensed any real evil intentions inside the building.

"I know. Dimensions are strange like that."

She sipped her tea and tried to remember anything useful that she might have read.

"Can you be prepared for having your entire life laid out for billions of people to know?" she questioned, tilting her head slightly. It wasn't something she saw herself handling to well. The last thing she needed was to be on the news.

Oh, wait.

"I've known him for..a while. We're from the same dimension. He'll come through, you'll just want to hit him the entire time." or at least some of them did.

She finished off the last of her cereal, and pushed the bowl away. "So." she said, smiling slightly. "That was pretty sweet...the coming through the floors thing. How'd you do that?" more so, what was she?

[ooc: I'm SO sorry, these past four days have been insane for me.]

"Not completely," she told the blond, "But knowing let's me skip the questions of 'who told?' and 'how do you know?'" It was still bound to be strange.

"He does seem to be a loud mouth," she said simply before taking another sip, "And that can be annoying."

"A form of teleportation using the shadows," something granted her due to her demon blood. She sipped on her tea a bit more, then let her hood down.

[ooc:it's no sweat :) Everything calm down now?]

"I know. I've known him for...eleven years?" something like that. Though she hadn't always been around him in that time, and for some of the time she was trying to kill him, and kill him good. He'd been evil, he had it coming. She knew he could be annoying. "Still, he's one hell of a guy." she said with a shrug. "Just...don't hit him with holy water or sunlight." she didn't need to see him go up and flames again.

"Hm." she said, tilting her head. "I thought our magic was secured against that. I guess it's not the same." you couldn't get rid of shadows. Though you could block magic. With any luck she would be the only one who arrived who could do that, other wise Buffy would start to get uneasy.

[ooc: haha, i thought it was. I'm hoping it is now]

She shrugged, "I'm used to it." With Beastboy around, unless you told him something was a secret, it got shouted to the world. "Why?"

[ooc: Is the magic block inside true? I didn't know that.]
