It didn't matter how magically delicious lucky charms were supposed to be, it wasn't enough to distract her from not noticing the girl suddenly coming out of the structure of the building to be standing at the counter.

...did they have defenses against things like that? The number of new people staying here was getting larger. She was really going to have to start being told when new people checked in, or have someone in charge of that. She wasn't all to sure her security system was going to hold up against that kind of traveling, or if it would pick it up. So maybe they should start being worried about other sorts of magic besides what could be done from the locals in this world.

Buffy's chewing had slowed when the girl appeared, and went about boiling water. Leaning back in chair, she watched for a second, apparently going unnoticed by her. If there was one thing to notice, the girl at least had an interesting choice in fashion. "Is appearing out of no where your normal way to travel?" she finally said, breaking the silence.
