Unfortunately for Kyle, the area wouldn't be deserted long. Sure, Phoebe had been warned to be careful. She'd been given one of the protective amulets, which sort of amused her since demons were kind of her thing. And she knew these demons were different than the ones back home, but surely certain spells could at least hold them off for a while. Sooner or later she'd have to get her hands on some potions ingredients. While Piper and Prue both had active powers, the best she could do was a quick spell if she was lucky. Or she could kick their asses if she wasn't. Worse things had happened.
Still, she felt safe enough wandering the city, going exploring. She wasn't some mortal with no way of protecting herself. And she was confused and a little anxious and she needed to reflect. She had her sisters here, including Prue, apparently. And she had a niece here, as well. But it wasn't home. She missed Paige, she missed her job, and she desperately missed Wyatt and Chris. She'd tried to sleep and it wasn't doing a thing for her. When it hit midnight and she was still wide awake, she went out.
Risky? Yes. Dangerous? Possibly. But that was Phoebe. Willing to take chances when she thought there might be trouble. And frankly, she was looking to see what darker issues this city had. Better to know what she was up against, she supposed.
She found the park and it looked comfortable enough, and inviting, too. Probably beautiful for picnics and games and all during the daytime. At night? Still pretty. A little intimidating, though, with all of the shadows. But nothing completely new for her. She glanced up, though, and noticed a dark figure, male probably. And she couldn't make out a clear view, but she could notice a bald head. Slowly, carefully she approached. If she panicked, he might notice, and she wasn't sure yet if she was facing this world's equivalent of a demon or just some old guy with a penchant for being out way too late at night.
