The woman was still watching him, smiling at him. Turned out he could still turn heads. It was a good thing to know. Not that he'd felt he'd lost it when Loras Tyrell had taken the tourney the year previous but it was nice to be reminded that away from the revulsion Westros felt for the Kingslayer he was still regarded well. And it was working to his advantage right now so he'd go with it. She seemed fascinated by the cloak as well. But meaning, he supposed it did yes. "...Its the mark of a member of the Kings Guard. A sworn brotherhood of Seven who defend the King and his family. And while I have no King to serve here. Well I suppose its habit keeping it as it should look."
The girl offered to help him and Jaime responded with a gracious smile, he lifted her hand to place a kiss there by way of thanks. But offering her home as the place to do this, it wasn't the done thing. It wasn't proper and much as this land was so different from home as he kept being told there were some courtesies Jaime Lannister would like to continue to observe.
"I have no objection. Back home it wouldn't be done. A knight stealing to the chambers of a Lady he doesn't even know. As it happens I don't even know your name. So let us have introductions between us and then I'll feel much less ill at ease in accepting your offer. Though I really do need your help. I'm not used to tasks like this."
"Ser Jaime Lannister" he said bowing his head slightly as he spoke. "I am in your debt Lady."
