If this had happened a few weeks ago, Jenny would have thought she was crazy. A few weeks ago everything was normal, there was no magic, no having nightmares come to life, and most importantly no having Shadow Men claiming to love her. Despite the fact that Jenny had grown used to crazy, she was not expecting Kansas. If her friend Dee was here, she probably would have made a crack about Dorthy and Oz - but Dee wasn't here. Where was Dee? Jenny hoped wherever her friends were they were safe, she had already put them in danger once, she didn't want to it again.
"Kansas," Jenny repeated. Her brow furrowed when he guy asked her if she had just been someplace different. How could he know? Either this really was a trick, or she was dealing with something completely different here. Jenny hoped for the latter. Despite the fact she knew Julian was bad, something about him made her loose control, she felt...different around him, a sort of freedom she wasn't sure she wanted, or was even ready for.
"You're from New York," Jenny said. It wasn't a question, she had been to New York a few summers ago with her parents, and she had loved it. "Alright," she said calmly. "How did we get here then? You didn't happen to see a guy with electric blue eyes and hair so blonde it's almost white have you?"
