One of the things that her Dad had taught her, above all else, was to be aware of her surroundings during combat. Most people would have been so engulfed in the process of defending themselves that they wouldn't have noticed the sudden arrival of yet another party on the scene, but Hit-Girl was quick to note the woman who had seemingly dropped out of nowhere out of the corner of her eye as she quickly moved through the dark, a bullet barely grazing the side of her costume which was - thanks to Daddy's insistence on her wearing one - protected due to the bullet proof vest she had tucked away underneath the purple material wrapped around her body. The force of the bullet was enough to throw Hit-Girl off step for a small moment, but she was darting between thugs again before the shooter could so much as blink again, tiny hands already reaching back and around her waist for her USP Compact, which was quick to take aim for a particularly pissed off looking dude's foot. The bullet tore through his foot to the heel and Captain Pissed Off fell to the ground, clutching at his massacred limb with a howl of agony.
The newcomer was familiar. If Hit-Girl was right (which she liked to think she often was), the woman who had decided to join in on the fun was one of the people who had gotten screwed into being here, just like she had been. She was one of the good ones too, which meant that Hit-Girl was officially fighting with someone on her side.
It was almost nice, having someone have her back again, even if Mindy wasn't sure if that was what all this was about. The last time she'd really fought alongside someone, it was with Kick-Ass, and he wasn't exactly here to reminisce in the glory of their fieldwork together. Not that he actually did much field work, but he still did her and her Dad proud, which made the dweeb more than cool by her.
Between the two of them, the gang members were scattered in every which way direction. They either thought that going after the super strong, weaponless woman was practical or they felt they could handle their own with the tiny, costumed girl running around with a gun in her hand. Realistically? They were screwed no matter where they went and both Mindy and Needy knew it.
