Well this was weird. She was going to meet Jack. Jack who she remembered well from before. A friend of hers, of Sam's hell this kid had even tolerated Solo and his annoyances. And now he was back and he didn't even really remember her. It was all kinds of weird but it would take some getting used to, and wasn't that what this place did. It took getting used to having time travellers and Jedi around, having angels that weren't trying to kill her. Being married to a Hunter. She couldn't help smiling at that. Jack wouldn't have known about the marraige. If he'd remembered. It was a pity, she'd wanted him at her wedding. But he joined Andrea on the list of people she'd have had there if she could have. And she figured Sam would agree, so screw the seal and its ability to mess things up she was gonna make sure Jack remembered he had friends here.
Ruby had opened the door and soon spotted the confused ranger standing just outside her door having knocked just once. He had a strange mix of confused and uncomfortable and Ruby wondered had his stuff returned when he had. Maybe they were in an empty room somewhere or maybe he'd have to buy all knew stuff, which kind of sucked. She didn't understand how the seal did its thing but it seemed to conclusively wipe people from existance when it was done with them. Disappointing really but it made it easier to know they were safe and at home rather than in danger somewhere in their world.
"So how're you doing?" she asked curiously. It couldn't have been easy for Jack walking back into this life he'd once gotten used to and not remembering what he should have. "Did you figure out the food of the day?" she asked. Maybe he'd remembered this about her, maybe it was just that she was a demon with a hunter. Even that was pretty exceptional.
