Who: Needy Lesnicki and OPEN!
What: Showing up in Lawrence and hopefully meeting someone.
When: Saturday afternoon.
Where: On a street that in no way has a hotel. Just go with me on that one.
Rating: TBD. But these days Needy has a bit of a mouth.

Needy didn't regret what she had just done. She didn't even regret leaving the knife she used in the hotel room with the bodies of those jerks, even though her fingerprints were sure to be on it. The cops were after her already anyway, and it wasn't like she would have been let out of the asylum any time soon if they caught her. First murder, then breaking out? Yeah, that wasn't going to be good. And now they could add four more murders on top of those past crimes. But to her, they were all justified. They deserved it and no one was going to make her feel guilty about it.

There was a sly grin on her face as she shoved the hotel doors open, ready to leave. She didn't care that she still had blood all over her, and she didn't care that people were staring at her. Even if they found her she felt better now that the killers were all dead.

But when she stepped out into the street she stopped short. This wasn't right. The street had looked entirely different when she had entered the hotel, and it was night time then. Needy was sure that she hadn't been in there long enough for the sun to come out, not this bright at least. Confused, she turned around to look back at the hotel, but the hotel was gone, too. Now it was just a somewhat rundown storefront. A quick look up and down the street showed her that there wasn't a single hotel in sight. "What the hell?"

"Sorry?" In that exact moment, when the confusion began, another figure emerged from behind Needy. The tall ginger, halfway distracted with the annoying task of trying to figure out how to work the device in his hands, fell to a sudden stop behind her. Brows lifting, he tipped his head over to peer off at the girl in curiosity. Why was she muttering on to herself? Clearly, the girl was mental. Or in dire need of mental attention and - "Bloody hell!"

Startled, Ron took a sudden step backward. The speed of his movement sent him tripping over the curb he had just stepped off of, arms wheeling in the air rather comically, Ron spent an entire series of seconds trying to keep his body upright before his back slammed into the concrete. The cellphone gripped in his freckled hand flopped out of his grasp, clattering to the ground at his feet. He didn't care much about that (Ron didn't even know what he was doing with it in the first place). It was the girl, soaked in blood, that he was more concerned about.

"What...what happened?" He looked pale. Paler than usual. Swallowing nervously, Ron pushed his hands down against the ground. He wasn't quite ready to push himself up yet. He couldn't do much more than gape. It had been a while since he'd seen that much blood on a person.

Needy looked over quickly when she heard someone talking, then saw him suddenly back away and trip. Her hands went out instinctively to try and help him not fall before she remembered what she looked like. Covered in blood, right. He probably wouldn't want her touching him. "It's a really long story," she said simply, shoving her hands back in her pockets.

She watched the guy for a moment, half debating if she should ask him where she was because she had no idea and half deciding this guy looked just like the one from the Harry Potter movies. But, there was a good chance it wasn't that kid, especially since she didn't have that kind of luck. Frowning, Needy looked back up and down the street. "Hey, okay, this is going to sound completely insane, but where am I? Because this sure doesn't look like Buffalo and I have no idea how I got here."

"You'll have to excuse me, but I don't think that's the sort of explanation you'd want to give someone who just asked you why you're practically swimming in..." Ron paled a bit more. "...blood." What had she been doing? Was she hurt? Was he supposed to call a Healer? He scooped up the cell phone from the ground as soon as he was able to process that he was still halfway sprawled across the ground. He was aching a bit from the trip and stumble, but Ron was nowhere near as dramatically injured - possibly, anyway - as the girl.

"You're in Lawrence," Ron kept on, fingers sliding across the odd cover of the phone in his hand. This device was supposed to be able to summon people. Could he get someone to help her? Or possibly...restrain her? Maybe he needed his wand instead. "I, erm...you might've gotten zapped in like the rest of us. Or you're flatout rotten at Apparition."

"Can we ignore the blood for right now? I haven't had a chance to shower in the last couple of hours." Sighing, Needy pushed the hood off of her head. Maybe that would help some. After all, she kept it up while she was, er, working on those guys, so it would probably look at least a little better with it back. "I'm fine anyway so there's no need to worry."

She blinked a bit at the name of the city though. "Alright. I'm in Lawrence. Where's Lawrence? Because I was just in Buffalo." Eyes traveling down the street once more, trying to figure out a location aside from 'The place needs a street sweeper' and 'Lawrence,' but she just came up with nothing. "And apparation? Really? I can do a lot of stuff but Harry Potter magic isn't part of it."

"You're asking me to ignore blood," Ron replied, sounding more than exasperated with her response, "you do realize how mad that sounds, don't you? Normal people don't ignore blood when it's all over a person! They don't ignore it on a common basis! On the street! In a chair! It's BLOOD." She was fine, then. Or she was lying. Ron slipped a hand into the pocket of his sweater, fingers finding the handle of his wand. "Who does the blood belong to, then? If you're so fine and all."

"Kansas. In America." Ron stood rigidly in place, watching her cautiously. "Right, then you're not a witch. But you still have got a bit of explaining to do, yeah?" She wasn't a witch, but she was one of those people who knew about the series. Brilliant.

"Yeah, I'm asking you to ignore it. It's not mine, it's not even anyone you should worry about. All you need to know is that they were evil. And I mean like, playing with demons evil. Not that I expect you to believe that because no one else believed me when I said there were demons before." Okay, so maybe she said demon. Singular. But the specifics weren't all that important just then. Or, at least Needy didn't think they were important.

"So, British guy that brought up the Harry Potter magic and looks oddly like Rupert Grint, any idea how I got to Kansas?" she asked with a sigh. This was turning into a long night. Day. Whatever it was now. No, she didn't expect him to know. In fact she half expected him to use that phone to call the cops or something.
