The last few weeks had been trying to say the least. He'd spent them at Bones' place tied to a bed post. So being in his own bed after all that was amazing. He slept like the dead. He didn't even realize that another body had joined him until after she got up and tripped. Likely on one of Parker's things in his room. The kid often left his toys behind no matter how many times Booth had told him to pick them up. He could be a push over with his son, but Parker was his one and only and the boys mother was not there. If he didn't baby him nobody else would, so he took the opportunity to be the worlds best dad, which meant not yelling if just a few toys were left behind.
He had learned since his little stint in handcuffs that dealing with devils was never the right answer. Now all he wanted to do was sleep it off. Unfortunately her clatter had woken the beast that was early morning!Booth. He reached for his sidearm that lie on a small table beside his bed and was instantly sitting up and pointing it at her.
"Who are you. How did you get in here." He was also still in a pair of boxers and a white wife beater. Which likely suggested there hadn't been any sexual activity he could remember. His gun was steadily pointed at her. His eyes like an eagle watching her every move with a careful and calculated glare.
