Who: Rory Williams, OPEN What: Rory arrives in the city. Where: Hell if he knows. When: He isn't sure about that either.
Rory blinked. He had just been in the TARDIS, he was sure of it. There had been the Doctor, pulling away at some switches and twirling about, and there had been his fiance--no, wife, now--still in her wedding dress, eager to wander through time and space again now that she had her madman back. He had been thinking about the fact that they had just missed their plane and now they were going to be late to their own honeymoon. He had been wondering how Amy thought they were going to manage a honeymoon inside a time machine.
But then he had blinked--an instant, no more--and he was--well, where was he? Definitely not the TARDIS, that was for sure. He was standing on the side of a long road, which stretched on as far as he could see. There were no signposts of any sort. And Amy and the Doctor had vanished.
For some reason, Rory was not surprised. Nor was he panicked. He had seen and done so many unusual things in the brief time he had known the Doctor that suddenly being dropped from the TARDIS into the middle of nowhere, completely separate from his companions, just didn't seem that frightening.
"Amy," he called out hesitantly, peering down the road. "Doctor? Um...hello?"
When there was no answer, Rory sat down slowly in the grass at the side of the road. The smart thing to do, he reasoned, was wait. If the TARDIS had dropped him here, then Amy and the Doctor could not be far away. If he waited here, they were sure to turn up.
If they didn't, then Rory probably would start to panic.
