Galinda accepted the kiss, returning it though she still wasn't convinced. Fiyero knew her extremely well, this was true. But apparently he was forgetting the fact that Galinda held onto ideas as if they were life lines. Which meant she wasn't exactly placated. Something was off in this. Yes, in the past, kissing could distract her from anything. Especially when it led to other things. But one, they were in the kitchen, and two? Galinda wanted to know what was going on. Or maybe she didn't. But the idea was in her head and it was going to keep turning over and over and drive her mad.
"You're lying... you have the thinking look on your face. Like something is troubling you.. beyond what you're saying...."
Blinking, Galinda searched Fiyero's features, as if searching for the answers. It wasn't like they would comfort her, far from it, but Galinda wanted to know. She saw how she was in the musical, not paying attention because she didn't want. But she wanted to be better than that. She wanted to be Glinda the Good and deserve that name even if she was still Galinda...
