Who: Jacen Solo (in theory) & Cade Skywalker What: Taking Cade down Where: Not far from the complex When: 13th of May, early Evening Rating: Violent and Sithtastic Status: In Progress
This was wrong, thought the former Sith Lord as he strode from the complex, eyes narrow as he searched with practice for any sign of Cade. It was so against anything he'd ever been taught. Jacen who had burned worlds and destroyed fleets on a whim knew that for every action he'd taken, he'd had reason. What Cade was doing, it was twisted. Sith weren't chaos. They weren't death for the sake of death. To Jacen it felt more like fighting the Yuuzhun Vong warriors again and he knew how a fight of that nature went. He wouldn't rely on his senses in the Force. He wouldn't rely on how he'd normally fight and instead he'd show Cade just why the Vong had so readily believed him the living Jedi dream. Their god made flesh. History was about to come to life for the younger Skywalker decendent. It wasn't arrogance to believe there was no one else that could take Cade down. No other Force User in Lawrence could do what he could do. And Jacen wasn't even sure Cade was aware of it. He'd keep that secret to himself for now. What he did do, once he'd reached the area close to the complex and sent Kon away was make himself as visible in the Force as he could. A cold burning flame that could be felt by any from miles around. And it wasn't light. It wasn't Jedi. But he was hoping it wasn't all the way Sith either, much as the lightsaber hanging on his belt and the power he possessed told a different story.
This was a fight that wouldn't be easy, would be messy. But Jacen hoped to have it over quickly. He just needed to overpower the chaotic disturbed kid and get close enough to remove him from the Force. He remembered when Vergere had first done it to him on Yuuzhun'tar. The sharp shock of feeling nothing, sensing nothing. They'd said he and Jaina had touched the Force before they were even born and loosing that had taught the young Jedi a valuable lesson in knowing that no one was unbeatable. Not even him.
There were some in Lawrence that could serve to learn that lesson, he thought, casting a critical eye back to the complex. He'd told them to stay out of it. Told Jaina to make sure Dawn Summers was nowhere near this. She'd made the battleground here. In a populated area. And that was possibly the most dangerous part of all when dealing with someone as destrcutive as Cade had become. Jacen really hoped if nothing else, that Cade would stand and face him instead of trying to run. Much as the darker part of him that was still very much Darth Caedus longed for the chase and the capture it would be easier if this was quick and if it was clean. But first, he needed to get his attention. Jacen cast his hand to the sky sending a line of Force Lightning shooting through the air. One solid burst of it. And even that was enough to bring Caedus more to the fore than he'd been in some time
"Cade!" he called, knowing the Skywalker was close even if he couldn't sense him. "It's been a while since I've really gotten to battle a Skywalker." he taunted. "Stand and face me!"
Point made, Jacen Solo waited, eyes already tinging yellow. He knew he could do this without falling too far. He had Tenel Ka, he had Allana. He had his family. He just hoped sensing what they were about to wouldn't hurt them too much.
