After all the experience Juliet had with Dean, one would think she would know better then to look to a shot of scotch for the answers. At the same time, she needed the buffer zone. Castiel said she either needed to fold or leave when it came to Winchesters and as much as she tried to fight it, she was starting to think maybe he was right. Steel seemed like a better option then being alone. From Dean she'd found friends, even if one of them was a demon that kind of petrified her. She had people she could talk too, without him who knew what would happen.
Who knew if she even could separate from him now. They'd already been through so much. She'd gotten him to say things that was unlikely he'd said to anyone else before judging by the way he said them. Even she was comfortable around him, it was just easy. Took zero effort. It was a little ironic though, when she first arrived she'd practically sworn off boys, and then there was drinking, handcuffing, and a relationship all in that order. Abnormal was the gentlest way to describe it. And the Winchesters. Maybe that's why she liked him so much though, Shawn was sort of the same way when she started falling for him the first time. He was just a little rough around the edges and more then a little strange.
"Read people? Oh, are you psychic?" She couldn't believe she just asked that out loud. "Sorry, just..I have a friend who's a psychic, he can sorta do the same thing. " At the mention of the scotch she gave a tiny smile. "I guess it is kind of obvious then. "
