And Leia's denial of killing her was a surprise to Leela. She lowered her head, wondering what to do now. Her emotions being manipulated didn't make sense to her, mostly as she had a hard time thinking clearly, especially with a bullet in her shoulder. She glanced at her shoulder and saw the blood that now trailed its way down her arm. She really needed to tend to the wound.
Nodding in silence, Leela accepted the words, even if she felt she should die. She slowly got to her feet and looked at Leia. "You are a skilled fighter worthy of honor and respect." With the battle lost, Leela only had one thing more she needed to do; remove herself from the makeshift battlefield. She had no where to go, no one to turn to for help. Well, she did, but in her current state of mind she didn't think anyone would help her. The warrior clad in animal skins made her way back the way she'd come. There was a safe building she'd been staying in not far from there. She could find cloth and water to dress her wound, though someone else would have to pull the bullet out. But right now, she needed to stop the bleeding because she was all ready getting light-headed.
