Leia had hoped that getting thrown to the ground would give her an advantage in the fight, but Leela was good. Very good. Eyes narrowing, Leia moved out of the way, though she winced as her shoulder was sliced. Well, that wasn't good. The injury would slow her reflexes, would make it harder to fight. But still she didn't reach for her gun. Not unless it was absolutely necessary. But drawing attention to the area with bugs around wasn't exactly smart.
Spinning out of the way, Leia held her shoulder.
"Leela, this isn't the answer! I know what it's like to lose someone you love. The want for revenge, but you can't let it consume you!"
Leia wasn't one to talk about her pain. And she still felt the pain of Alderaan's destruction even four years after the fact. Mia. The fact she had blamed herself for her death...
"This wasn't your fault. You have to believe that."
Yes, Leia was trying to reason again. What could she really do?
