This was good. This was nice. They could do this. Frankly she was tired of acting like they were both tweleve. Did she think he should apologize for not minding his own damn business? Yes she did; but really ... at the moment, she didn't care. She actually liked her job, believe it or not, and she wasn't let his meddlesomeness ... or her own stubborness mess that up. At least not right this moment. How long that would last would be another thing. She wasn't going to jinx it by wondering how long it'd take him to step on it but she was pretty sure that it wouldn't take very long. She was going to enjoy this civil awkwardness for as long as it lasted.
Andrea nodded at his words, "Yeah. I do." She looked a bit sympathetic before saying, "That's good. That you managed to sell it." Because what else was she supposed to say? It seemed to be a response for the situation. Clark got more pumped about these kind of things than she did but she could relate. About getting how they could be. And she did care, about the job and the produce.
She paused. What else to say? "I brought some things .. to make pie." Wow. Random. But that was first thought that came to her mind, which actually probably said lots of disturbing things. Andrea was sure Clark could go forever with that. Surprisingly enough? That thought? Not at all snide.
