Entry tags:allana solo, kon-el/superboy

Who: Kon, Allana, and Burt! (eventual posting order?)
What: collecting Burt.
Where: The gas station he mentioned
When: after his arrival.
Warnings: TBA bug violence and poisoning though!

Kon didn't know Kurt very well, but new people arriving in the middle of bug invasions had to be taken seriously and dealt with quickly. Like a literal flash he was in the lobby of the complex waiting for Allana. Ever since Clark told him he didn't have to hide from the people in the complex it felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He felt freer then he had in his short life. He could really talk to them, befriend them, and be accepted for who he was. No more 'Conner' Kent. Just Kon-El. It would have been ten times better if Clark would accept that name, but he suspected it was going to take him time to adjust to it. One thing at a time. Babysteps. Other ridiculous expressions like that. Clark had finally started to accept him, and Kon was glad.

Still he worried about it on some levels. This Clark was different then his. He had no idea how he thought about him. What if Clark thought he would one day be a threat because of what he was? He was part Luthor, and not by choice or design. He was just an innocent in it, which sometimes made that worse for them. Like Jericho. A boy from his world who had been in many ways like him. Subjected to a power that he couldn't fully comprehend.

He waited in the lobby for Allana. Realistically he could have gone on ahead and been there and back already but for the time being he was trying to be a team player. He was trying to show Clark that on occasion he could play by the rules set for him. They were doing a tag team scenario, he could respect that. So impatiently he waited until he heard a noise and grinned broadly. Dressed in a black and red superman shirt and pair of jeans he shook his head. "Tfft. Slowest Jedi ever." He teased when he finally saw her come into view.

Kon rolled his eyes at her. "I don't get into messes, I clean up. " He added with a smirk and a fist in his hand cockily. That was his entire thing, jab at Allana and be cocky. Despite his alien disposition, he managed to live fairly normally thanks to Clark making him do it. If he hadn't, who knew how Kon would have turned out after finding out he was infact a clone. Not even a real Kryptonian. He had his issues with it sure, but he was a fairly private person when it came down to it. He didn't like to share his problems with the general populous. They weren't general problems.

He had identity issues. Worse then the average teenager. The way he saw it, he had two options for growing up. One was to become Superman, and the other was to become a Luthor. Neither of which he was sure he wanted of his own volition. But they were his destiny and he wasn't sure which he was going to turn out to be. Luthor would be depressing. He tried to avoid thinking about it at all costs. Tim had told him it was his choice, but he wasn't so sure. There were times at the lab in Metropolis where he felt almost like he were forgetting himself being so close to Lex Luthor. Lex had specific control words Kon wasn't aware of. When he used them, Kon became someone completely different. Tim had showed him the video playback from security after the fight. Since then Kon always questioned what his future was going to look like. It left him with an uneasy feeling thinking about it, so he tried not too.

His eyes shifted toward her with a smirk. "Yeah yeah, bragger. " He hated school, it really wasn't his favorite thing to be stuck in a classroom listening to a boring lecture. If he had it his way his feet would never be on the ground. Flying was just so much better. "I can, I can take you and him. As long as you aren't made out of kryptonite. " He shrugged.
