Who: The Gorog Nest What: They're heeerrre Where: A disused warehouse When: Wedensday Evening Rating: Low Status: Complete.
[Note: Feel free to use the bugs as you want for logs, killing, attack etc. They work mostly as they do in the log. They're a hive mind but they'll break off for attacks etc. They're strong, they're fast, they vary in size. If one dies the others will know so its best for the killer to get the hell out of dodge Its all on the Wookiepedia entry I linked for Killiks. This is one of a whole load of nests, the one that went dark. They won't go down easy but they will go down against a powerful enemy, you guys know your pups capabilities. Alema and the top few Gorog will go down next week at some point in a blaze of doom but all the others are to be used for funtimes. Tag the log as I have this one with ~ the gorog nest ~ so its findable later. I'll post updates with what the rest of the swarm gets up to as the week goes on. Any questions ask me :)]
And there it was of course. All things in their proper place. The Jedi family falling apart. The whole city running scared and she herself was dancing as the witches Lucifer had told to work with her did whatever it was they were doing. They were using her link as Night Herald, her hive mind mentality to open the seal, to push through its strong barriers and send it to find Alema’s nest. All of them Gorog. They’d come here, come to this city and lay waste to it. They’d start from where they landed and they’d do as she willed because she was one of them, their Night Herald. If only she could bring Lomi Plo here too. That would make it even more perfect. But she knew that this was only working because the Gorog were acting as one. They were a swarm and in Lomi’s stead she would act as their leader directing them where they needed to go. They could kill and maim to their contentment and she would be so proud to call herself their leader.
And very likely Lucifer would be happy with her. And that was good for now at least, he could be happy with her, Brady would dance with her and she would find a way to restore her beauty entirely without the need to rely on the Force to make her look as she did. She danced as the witches chanting grew louder and the chittering in her head reached a feverish height. They were close now, so close, and all the Twi’lek could do was laugh and twirl and chitter back as the white light spread all around and about her.
They came in a swarm, dozens of them, hundreds, perhaps more, moving quickly as the light faded and the dark blue creatures surrounded her, Alema pressed her arms against theirs wherever they held them up to her. Her beautiful nest surrounding her.
“We are reunited!” she almost squealed, looking across toward the witches and wanting nothing more than to kill them and walk away from Lucifer’s control. But not yet. No not yet. Alema didn’t need to speak for Gorog to understand her. They would understand her well enough from their shared mind, they knew her plans and her wishes and thought it good, they congratulated her for what she had done to the Hapan Queen and to Darth Caedus whom they still resented for his part in stopping them. And they assured her that things would be different now. The smaller ones flew or skittered across the ground, the biggest ones simply walked or ran toward the city and the people that their Night Herald had decreed should suffer. Alema followed dancing, lost in a delirious madness few would understand even if they tried.
A homeless woman in their path screamed long and loud and one Gorog darted out, a slice and a excretion of poison later the screams turned to gurgles as the poison did its slow yet lethal work. They all felt the delight of the one killik who had made the first kill.
