Damon watched Elena’s dramatic exit. “Yeah,” He looked back to Elphie with an almost apologetic wince. “Get home carefully and... All of that.” He smiled a little. This witch wasn’t tough to be around like all of the others he had met over the course of his years.
He followed the path he’d seen Elena take, eyes searching the general area for her. The girl could barely manage to stand on her own inside of the bar. Outside of the bar was a much worse place to be as far as falling down went. More dangerous, to boot. He wasn’t about to leave Elena on her own out there.
“Elena?” He called at a lower volume so as to not look like a fool shouting some girl’s name. Damon lowered his gaze and found her slumped against the exterior of a building. “There you are,” He smiled a little and sunk, stooping down beside her.
