Entry tags:anna, dean winchester, sam winchester

Who: Anna, Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester
What: Anna scares the crap out of the boys
When: Evening, around 8 or so
Where: The Impala!
Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete
Note: I figured I'd finally throw this up? I'm not sure on what's going to happen other than alien invasion discussion, staring and Sam and convincing Anna to use the boards, plus some possible demon talk, but I figured it was about time to do this XD.

She supposed there was always a time when something new was going to happen. Alien invasions, this would be her first. Of all the things she'd dealt with in the world, aliens had never been one. It made her want to go check out Area 51, just to see if the conspiracy theories had any merritt. While the residents of the city were managing on their own, or so it seemed, Anna had to wonder what the boys were up to. How much they knew, and so on.

It wasn't hard to find them on her radar, she knew they'd been off hunting, and she was unaware when anyone had really updated them on what had been going. She'd drop in on the boys, since almost everyone's attention seemed to be focused on the city now, and the weird things going on there. She'd even heard that Lilith had spoken to some of the residents. Granted it had been online, but still.

After focusing on the boys, she vanished from her current location, and reappeared quite suddenly in the back of the Impala. For just a second she was completely silent. Then, leaning forward, hair falling in her face slightly she looked at the two brothers. "Hey guys." she said simply, alerting them of her presence.

That ought to bring around a funny reaction, at least.

She'd be lying if she said their reaction hadn't been a slight form of entertainment for her, not that she needed to tell them that. Looking from Sam to Dean, she smiled ever so slightly, still leaning forward. "Where would the fun in that be?" she asked, voice slightly teasing. Why take the surprise out of things? And it wasn't like she had her cellphone anymore. That had effectively been blown to bits and she had no desire to go get another one.

Turning her gaze to Dean she kept the slightly amused smile on her face, but moved on to why she was actually here. "Did you guys hear about the...alien invasion?" she said the last bit like she could hardly believe it herself. Here she had thought she'd known about every sort of life possible. Apparently not. Turning from Dean to Sam, she looked at the younger brother for a moment, face going blank. "You look different, Sam." She could see it, something inside of him. She'd heard the the other Angels talking, and there it was, right infront of her. Did Dean know?

It was a good thing that they were fully stocked on asprin. Sam didn't think he'd be able to take sitting through a full drive with Dean after getting the bashing in the head he had gotten now. Ow. Stupid tiny cars. One day, he was going to get a massive truck and be done with it. He'd have to stand up twice over to even reach the ceiling. Rolling his eyes at Dean's remark about the stupid band on the radio, Sam shrugged forward so that he was able to see Anna a bit more clearly from where he was sitting.

"Aliens?" Brows rising, Sam looked over to Dean before he cast his attention back to Anna again. "I...no? I mean, aliens?" Maybe it was The Trickster. He could have been at it again. The last time that they had dealt with aliens, after all, was when people were slow-dancing with them. Unless the Seals were responsible for actual alien invasions? Beyond the Superman and Supergirl talk that he was still sort of a skeptic about.

Something inside of Sam suddenly felt horribly embarrassed when Anna announced that he looked different. Why? Did she know? Could she tell? He ducked his head, pretending to be distracted by something on the floor. "Hair is growing out," he muttered into the sleeve of his jacket, "need to get it cut."

Dean didn't bother to answer Anna's question about the fun, instead choosing to give her a withering look, even if it was tinged with faint amusement.

And he nodded at the comment about aliens. "Sure, Cas mentioned it," he replied casually. "Something about this alien race turning up, I think the doc knows them. Cas said they can handle it, we don't need to go back or anything." He'd glanced at the message boards a couple of times, seen the fear in the posts from that weird Romana chick and the doc. But they did happen to have an angel on their side, he wasn't too worried.

He tensed faintly at Anna's comment to Sam, and at Sam's reply. It wasn't the hair. He didn't know exactly what it was, almost feared finding out, but Anna wasn't going to comment on something as shallow as the need for a hair cut. He looked up into the rearview mirror, trying to meet Anna's eyes in the reflection, wondering what she knew. How bad it could be. Sammy hadn't been, well, Sammy in a long time, and Dean knew full well why that was, a certain demon shaped bitch with a name that sounded like it should belong to a stripper.

It seemed Dean knew more about what was going on than Sam did, at least. "They seem to be handling it, it seems." she said with a nod. "And yes, aliens. I'm still waiting for Independence Day." she flatly. "They seem very scared of these things. Terrified, even." at least some of them did. She'd seen one of them, it reminded her of that robot from the Star Wars movie she had watched when she was a young human. Or maybe it had just been a while since she had seen the movies.

"No." she said lightly, "It's not the hair." she could easily feel Deans eyes on her, and for a moment she looked to the mirror, meeting his in the reflection. For a moment, she looked worried, maybe sending a message that he should be too. Then her eyes went blank again. Back to business. She had no proof of anything about Sam, just that he was changing, however he was doing it. Or that was how it looked.

"Anyway, I think they've assembled some sort of teams to capture one. They use those boards you set up to communicate a lot. Last I heard Castiel used them." Castiel on the internet. The thought made her smirk slightly. She almost wished she had a picture of it.

[ooc: Sorry! I never saw the notifs for this!]

"Do they need backup?" Sam frowned thoughtfully, leaning forward slightly in his seat. Aliens. Apocalypses. What next? Giant gorillas carrying screaming women up to the top of buildings? "We could head back to Lawrence, maybe lend a hand." Sam looked to Dean, knowing that it was unlikely that his brother would protest if those people back there were in danger. They had left them there alone. They were, in a way, their responsibility.

Not the hair. Damn. "Well, I'm sure it's something like that. I haven't seen you in a while. Something was bound to change." He shrugged awkwardly, making sure to avoid looking at her directly. He didn't know what she was capable of picking up on. He was afraid to find out.

"Yeah, Castiel does. You should have seen his answers to a survey that he had up there. It was..." Sam sheepishly slid back, leaning against his seat. She couldn't look at him this way. "...funny. He's a very serious guy." But all angels were. Anna was actually as light-hearted as they got.

[ooc: It's all good! I've been having internet problems anyway, so I've had trouble catching up to threads!]

Dean scowled slightly at the idea. "Man as long as they don't end up with Will Smith here," he paused and thought about it a moment. "Or maybe they should, then I can punch him in the face." Independence Day was a lame ass movie.

He glanced over at Sam with a thoughtful frown before looking back to Anna in the rearview mirror. "Cas said they could handle it, but maybe we should go back anyway?" Not that he didn't think Jaina could handle it. She was a very kickass Jedi. But still, extra help and all.

The message from Anna came through loud and clear. She was worried, he was worried and it had nothing to do with Sam's hair cut or lack of. Something had changed in Sam, something bad. There were times he didn't even feel like Dean's brother any more.

"Cas aint so bad," he commented, almost lightly. "Could do with taking that stick outta his ass, but he's alright." But then again, he was going to look kinda favorably on the dude who pulled him out of hell.

"You should probably let them handle it." Anna pointed out, with a slight shake of her head as they discussed it. "They need to be a team, learn how to work together." it wouldn't do them any good to have them come back and start being leaders again. They needed to figure that out on their own.

She did note that Sam didn't bother to look her in the eyes. Actually, he avoided it. Frowning slightly, she dropped the subject. She couldn't be sure on anything, and she knew that there had been warnings from others.

"Survey?" Anna asked, cocking an eyebrow. She knew online serveys, had done a share of her own before. But the idea of Castiel filling out one seemed entertaining. "That would have been something I would like to have seen." she mused, before redirecting her thoughts again.

"Anyway. I thought I should bring a warning." she said, her tone changing slightly. "Alastair isn't dead." she added flatly. "So make sure you're careful. Who knows if or when he'll resurface."
