Jaina wasn’t quite in sight of whatever was going on when a familiar presence caught her attention, and she stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, frowning. That was distinctly Gabriel - and it was stupid that she could still feel him so clearly even now that she was well aware he wasn’t worth her time, that whatever part of her mind had latched on to him and created a place for his presence in the Force hadn’t yet learned its lesson and let go of it already. She didn’t know how she was supposed to get rid of that - she’d never had to before.
She almost turned back the way she’d come, continued on to her brother’s apartment, pretended not to have even noticed he was here... but what if he was tormenting some random civilian as a ‘joke’, another of his stupid games? He probably was, he never seemed to do anything elseexcept for when he was pretending to be a decent person, but even that was all just a joke, it didn't even count. She wasn't comfortable with letting him hurt anyone, now that her stupid infatuation with him was gone clearing up and couldn't distract her from seeing what he was doing - really seeing what his games were, how many people he hurt just for a laugh - and she was feeling confrontational enough to go at least make an attempt at stopping him... so she kept walking, hands curling into fists at her sides as she got closer.
When she came around the corner, the sight before her wasn’t one she had expected to see - definitely not even close. She’d expected to see Gabriel harassing someone, and instead... he was the one being harassed. By Sam Winchester, apparently - he was throwing rocks at the Archangel, and he seemed to be the source of the shouts she’d heard. This had the potential to end badly, she knew - Gabriel was unlikely to just sit back and let himself be pelted with rocks for very long, after all. She couldn’t help but smile, though - Sam was pretty daring, considering she knew he was well aware of how strong Gabriel was, whether he knew the being he was throwing rocks at was an Archangel or not.
Jaina moved in a little closer, arms folded across her chest, smile shifting to a smirk as she came up behind Gabriel. She stopped several feet away, eyes flicking to a small stone on the ground near her feet. She reached out with the Force, sending it into the air - and straight at the back of Gabriel’s head.
