"I hate it." Kon folded his arms. He wasn't a mature adult, it was glaringly obvious that he was still a teenager the way he responded and how irrationally he acted. He'd grown up fast in his young life, pun not intended for clone growth. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders, literally. He had a secret identity no one could know and it ate at him. He was so angry with things, he didn't want normal friends. He didn't want to go to a normal school. He couldn't talk to those kids without feeling like he was hiding who he really was. They could be whoever they wanted, they could grow up and have a bright future. But him? Who knew. His future was up in the air. Was he going to be Kon-El, or was he going to turn Luthor? He had a hard time fitting in, and he always had ever since the Kents started making him go to public school.
"What I am?" He corrected Clark's term. He had a lot of anger stored up inside about who he was, and what was expected of him. But then Clark was there telling him he wasn't really alone. Kon too had softened slightly at that point, much of his anger had subsided. He gave Clark a slightly hesitant smile. "I'm sorry..about all this. " He added. Shifting his eyes away. He wasn't clear on what he was apologizing for, but what teenager really was?
"School's almost over anyway, do I have to go back today?" His voice was quieter, calmer. The tension had drastically lessoned. "I'll go tomorrow, I won't even be late. "
