It really wasn't very hard to miss Kon. Even with the amount of people in Lawrence who had special abilities, not many of them could fly. More importantly, not many of them could fly with that oddly distinguishable look of determination on their faces. Dark hair falling into his eyes, Clark doubled his own speed, very much looking to meet up with his unusual relative. He was a little bit out of the way - Clark had used his microscopic vision to find him - but he was fast. It didn't take a terrible amount of effort to catch up with the younger man, especially given the fact that Kon had no idea he was being followed. He was, though. Normally Clark would let him do his own thing after a quick hello, but not now. Not while Clark very much knew that he was skipping class, after all that talk about him sticking to the school routine on the boards. Maybe Clark wasn't his father (thankfully; the thought of being anyone's father, let alone Kon's, was a little more than terrifying), but he certainly did feel that Kon was partly his responsibility. He did, after all, have part of his DNA embedded into his system.
Pushing past Kon, Clark turned around, folded his arms over the House of El shield on his chest, and fell to a halt. There was no way that Kon was going to be able to keep on flying without spotting Superman, waiting for him with a single brow raised and a very, very critical look on his face. Clark didn't even bother to give Kon the chance to speak - he went right ahead and started the conversation for them. There was no point in dancing around the subject. They both knew where Kon was really supposed to be right now.
