What: Damon is acting weird. What could possibly be going on???
Where: the Salvatore penthouse, Elena’s bedroom
When: present day
Lightly rapping his knuckles on Elena’s bedroom door, Damon poked his head inside trying to look relatively innocent. He smiled, but it wasn’t his usual smile. There was something suspicious underneath it all. It was like he had some uncomfortable truth to share, but didn’t know how to go about it at all.
“Morning,” He paused, then wrinkling his eyebrows when he realized that it was most definitely not in the AM. “Or, you know, evening. Whatever.” He hesitated to step inside as if Elena’s privacy was of huge importance to him. He did give her space, but there had been times when he’d simply walked in without invitation. It was his penthouse, after all.
“How are you feeling?”
