Melinda was sitting on her sofa at the moment. Her nervous energy was coming out through her foot, shaking it at a rapid rate. Parter of her was hoping that the fact that they'd started out by way of skipping a few steps would work in their favor, but you could never tell, really. Maybe this whole thing would be awkward as hell. Maybe it'd go perfectly fine.
Mel had just started to relax a little, her body relaxing and not as tense as before. That was until she heard the sound of of knocking at her door. She knew it had to be Adam. It wasn't like any of her family had a specific reason to be coming around to visit her around the time time that Adam was coming by. It only took a second for the young Halliwell woman to stand up. Then she had to pause, sucking in a breath and then letting it out. It'd be fine! It only took seven steps to make it to the door. There was no use in hesitating now. She didn't even think as she opened the door.
A smile crossed Mel's face seeing Adam standing there. He looked nice. Then again, she was attracted to him, so at this point unless he pulled a kilt or something out she'd probably continue to think he looked good. "Hey, Dimple, you clean up pretty well." Melinda winked as she grabbed her jacket, slipping it on smoothly. She was really hoping that the nervousness didn't show. She was hiding it pretty well, right? She liked to hope that she was either way. Hopefully things would stray away from awkward today. Mel was pretty sure they could manage that. Other than the awkwardness on the boards they had done pretty well on that front.
"I'm good to go." Mel told Adam, reaching to lock her door before pausing too look up at him, "You good too?"
