There were times when Tenel Ka was curious about what their life would have been like had things been different. What if they had been able to be together obviously, to marry, and have their family? She could hardly imagine it. It would have changed everything vastly. It was pointless to continue to think about this subject because they were the people that they were and it was not going to change. They were fine as they were. They had been through everything they had and with this chance to be together now they were managing for the most part. she believed that he could control himself and that he could be fine. She believed that they could all work through things here because this was a second chance.
She didn't look back at him as he followed her to the kitchen, but she could feel his eyes on her. Once in the kitchen, Tenel Ka moved smoothly to open the cabinet, pulling out the box that was labeled quite obviously with the words 'hot chocolate'. This felt so normal that it was almost strange in moments. There were also moments where the normalcy that they had here was amazing and just fit somehow. As strange as it was Tenel Ka enjoyed being here and hoped that they would remain here for some time.
Getting out two mugs, the redhead stopped and turned toward Jacen, unable to help the smile on her face. "You'll have your coffee in the morning, I'm certain." She stated confidently before she read the instructions on the box. After she'd read the instructions, the Hapan set about following them. Measuring the milk into the mugs and then putting them into the microwave, one at a time. After that it was a simple matter of punching the number in to heat the beverages and pressing the start button. After finishing this she turned, leaning against the counter and watching Jacen with a light smile.
