She had the knack of saying just the right thing. Jacen had thought for such a long time that she'd been biased, unable to act against him out of love, that she'd always be by his side but that wasn't true. She'd stood against him, hard as it must have been for her, and she'd do it again if he ever pushed her too far. He just had to endevour not to. And maybe she was right, maybe giving up the Force would be a weakness. Maybe he could actually make amends for everything. It was possible wasn't it. Comforted, Jacen slipped out of the bed, crossing over to the door before turning to find Tenel Ka joining him. She was smiling, just that same little smile he had so missed. He had truly thought he'd never see it again.
"Coffee is probably the worst plan in the galaxy right now. It apparently keeps you awake and that would be entirely beside the point. I could think of far more interesting methods of waking up much as I enjoy the coffee. I'll make you one of these... hot chocolate things I remember Luke liking."
It was an oddly domestic little scene. And he rather enjoyed the idea of sitting with Tenel Ka in their kitchen making drinks and talking. Even if he had woken up unpleasently, perhaps it would not be for the worst. On a whim, the former Sith Lord crossed the room back to Tenel Ka and wrapped his arms around her, leaning in for a kiss. It had been too long and he had made too many mistakes. It seemed now he would take any oppertunity to prove how much he loved her. "I can see the mistakes...most of them anyway, and I'm going to prove myself to you" he told her.
