For the most part Buffy had been keeping to herself since everyone's powers had gone back to normal. Not that she didn't normally do that, ever since Willow, Xander, Spike and now Anya had gone home, Buffy hadn't been very social. It was weird for her, to not go out and socialize, but it almost felt empty - without them she hated it. Sure Dawn was here, her sister who wasn't really her sister, but they didn't talk much. It was awkward - really awkward. Everything was awkward.
She had turned the spare bedroom in her new apartment into a training room, and had been practicing her slayerness in there - as much as she could. It wasn't like vampires were as big an issue as they were in Sunnydale.
Today though, she needed a break - even though she had no real idea what to do. She almost wished she call someone, anyone, even Booth and ask if they wanted to do lunch or something. It wasn't that she had no one, she knew she could probably call Kurt, or Vi, or anyone really. It was just the horrible thought that anyone else she got close to would be sent home. She had already lost Willow and Xander, even if they were older than her it hurt way to much.
A scream and the sound of a commotion broke Buffy from her thoughts. Without a second hesitation she broke out into a run in the direction of the noise. When she got there her brow furrowed. ...what?
"Or how about we go with my scenario?" she called out to the two men. She didn't know the good from the bad, if there even was one here. And she wasn't going to take any changes. She couldn't help but wrinkle her nose at the guns, Buffy hated guns. At least she was positive she could dodge a bullet if need be. "You both put down your weapons and back away very slowly. Or I'll kick both of your butts. Wouldn't be any fun telling your friends you got beat up a girl now would it?"
