As Ruby started for the door, Sam leveled his gun and readied himself. There was a brief struggle at the door - one that involved a flying vase - but Ruby handled it all like a pro. Sam felt a twinge of relief sink into his chest as he watched her go. Marrying someone who knew how to take care of themselves on a hunt? It really did have it's perks. Sam moved inside as the vase crashed into the wall behind the spot Ruby had been standing, turning with the gun in his hands as he went to search for the spirit. It was far more active than Sam had expected. It sure wasn't wasting any time letting them know that it was here, anyway.
"Someone's cranky," Sam commented, reaching for his flashlight. He tilted his head to the side and gestured for Ruby to take the lead. He'd follow from behind. Sam wanted to watch her back, in case something caught her off guard. She might have been quick with her new vampire powers, but Sam was a fast shot. He'd catch anything she missed.
