So Abby was over the initial shock of the whole world change thing, and sort of past the freaking out about her friends back home stage. But that didn't keep her from worrying from time to time. And she really needed more things to do because she felt as though she was going to go insane without clocking in 16 hours a day at NCIS headquarters. It was strange to her, but she was making friends here, which helped her transition. Not to mention the bowling! Oh she was going to be on that like no other. She hated not having her ball here, but that was okay. At least she could bowl and have fun with others who liked the sport here.
Tired of just sitting around in her apartment at the complex and figuring Ziva was off at work, which, by the way, she was jealous of, Abby had gone off to a coffee shop to get some coffee, then she headed to the library. If she couldn't spend her time in a lab, she might as well spend time in a library and read up on the scientific advances that had been made in the two years she'd missed in the leap forward from her world to this one. She had managed to get a hold of an iPod and was listening to some music as she walked into the library. She took a drink of her coffee and headed down the main aisle, making her way towards the science and technology section.
She was bopping her head and walking to the beat of her music, but even though her mind was drifting off, she couldn't help but notice a girl crying. Being the ever sympathetic one, Abby stopped, frowning a bit. She pulled the earbuds out of her ears and draped them over her shoulders, then hit pause on her iPod in her pocket as she walked over to the girl. "Hey, are you all right?" She asked gently, hoping she wasn't intruding on the girl's personal space. But she looked as though she could use a hug! And Abby was good at giving hugs! Even though she was in her late twenties, the fact her hair was in high pigtails and she was dressed in a goth outfit made her look like she was thirteen, but she didn't care.
